SAB SUBSTRATE 1 -Made in Latvia

Application

Professional mix for greenhouses and landscaping. SAB Substrate 1 is a fertilized peat with adjusted pH-value. For seeds, cuttings and seedlings as well as for the transplanting of nitrate-sensitive plants. This peat substrate comprises a balanced combination of nitrogen, lime, potash and trace elements, which encourages fast germination and rapid growth. Virtually free of all pests, wood and seeds.

By means of an ecologically compatible re-moistening device, the capacity to store water will be enabled even after desiccation of the substrate.

Slightly decomposed latvian high bog peat in fine structure ( 0 - 7 mm).

Advantages Of The Peat-based SAB Substrate 1

The SAB Substrate 1 is a product that is especially suitable for the cultivation of young plants (seeds, cuttings, pricking out).
Due to its fertilization of approx. 1,0 g/l, means 1,0 kg of fertilizer in 1 m³ of substrate, a good supply with all necessary elements is ensured.
The used fertilizer has the formula 14-16-18 in the NPK-ratio, all necessary micro-nutrients are included.
Additionally, another micro-nutrient fertilizer is added, as well as a re-moistening device which enables the product to be wettened easier during the cultivation.

The SAB Substrate 1 can be used for:

The cultivation of vegetable young plants
The cultivation of outdoor ornamental young plants (trees, shrubs)

The re-potting of all kind of salt-sensitive plants

Since the nutrition level of the Substrate 1 is going down during the cultivation of the plants due to the fact that the plants are consuming the fertilizer, the substrate needs to be enriched during the cultivation period in the greenhouse, preferrably with water soluble fertilizers.
